Adventures From the Books of Virtues

Many homeschoolers knows about the Book of Virtues written by  William J. Bennett which contains numerous moral stories for children of all ages.   There is even a FREE 900 pages unit study and lapbook available to dowload for anyone who desire to do so.  But what most families don’t know about isbookofvirtueslogo that there is a series of DVDs available where some cartoons were based on stories found in the popular book.  This DVD series, titles Adventures From the Book of Virtues will allow your kids to get a better understanding of the lesson thought in themes like self-discipline, compassion, responsibility, friendship, work, courage, perseverance, honesty, loyalty, and faith.

The DVD series is produced by Porchlight Entertainment and has received awards since it was created.  It was designed to enlighten, inspire and spark the imagination of families everywhere, while illustrating a central theme through classic international heroes and stories.   Follow Zach and Annie as they learn various life lessons from their friends Plato the bison, Aurora the red-tailed hawk, Aristotle the prairie dog, and Socrates the bobcat. These lessons are told in the form of animated segments based on stories from a variety of sources including the Bible, fairy tales, fables, mythology, and folk stories from different cultures.
