My Thoughts

This book is different in a sense that it has a Christmas story attached to it.   It is a fast pace read if you want to entertain  yourself and read something that is light.  No mysteries or crime to be resolved in this book – just a good reading to help you relax during this Christmas season.   While many will be running around like a chicken without a head to find the PERFECT gift for a love one, you can sit and enjoy this book from cover to cover.

The story is charming and the characters almost believable.   However, I am a bit disappointed on how the book finishes.   It has a good ending but at the same time I would like to discover more about a specific event mentioned in the book – the bone marrow donation.  I don’t want to give too much details about the story so I won’t spend too much time on it but it would have been nice to know more about what would happen and how it would affect the lives of some of the characters in the story.    I suspect that the author has more to write about these characters and maybe she will consider writing a sequel to it.

I enjoyed reading Christmas at Harrington’s during this busy season of the year.    I would like to recommend it to anyone who enjoys reading Christmas stories in December.
