 About the Planner

Organize your busy days all in one place with this beautifully-designed planner. The Well-Planned Day is a family homeschool organizer, designed especially for moms. This effective, yet easy-to-use format will ensure that each day at your home is smooth and profitable.

My Thoughts

This planner is a lifesaver for me.   I have discovered it a few years ago and every year since then I get a copy.   It allows me to track down everything that we do during the school year and have a clear idea of the progress the kids are doing.   The weeks are spread out on two pages with the Monday to Friday columns separated in subjects – Bible, Math, Science, History, English and black ones for other subjects like French for us…  Each subject has four lines which is totally perfect for us as we have four kids.   Each kid’s progress is written down on the page.    I also have the possibility to write down the information for special activities like swimming and Awana at the bottom of a column.

I received a PDF version of The Well-Planned Day and this year, I have the possibility of update the file on my computer as well.   It is a good habit to take to update on the PC so you can have a backup of what has been done so far.    You never know what could happen to your paper version so have a backup on your PC could reduce the stress of not finding your paper version one day.

When getting the Well-Planned Day, you will get a full year color planner of over 230 pages.   It covers from July 2012 to June 2013 so it can be useful for year long homeschoolers or non-year long ones.   You could manage your home with it with cleaning schedules, greeting cards registry, monthly budgets and so on.  You can also organize your holidays with activities and schedules, gift giving, and so on.   You get a four student class plans and time schedules.  You can organize your week with assignments, priorities, prayer requests, menu and notes.  You can view your month in a glance with field trips, activities and books to read.  Finally you also have the possibility of keeping attendance, progress reports and report cards.

As usual, the planner is packed with insightful homeschool articles and tips to encourage you during the school year.  This year, you will also find a read through the Bible section to encourage you in your family worship.

Though I don’t use everything that I find in this planner, I really enjoy having it to track our progress during the year.   It has been an important tool for me in the past few years.

I highly recommend a planner of some sort when you are homeschooling your kids.  I am sold out to the Well-Planned Day since the day I discovered it.   I wish that it would be available at our homeschool convention in April and I could purchase it there.

The Well-Planned Day is available for the price of 24.95$ for the spiral version.

The Well-Planned Day is also available as online for the price of 65$ annually.   It also comes with a free mobile app so you can update it anywhere you are.   One of these days I would love to check out the online version and see how it could be beneficial for us as homeschoolers.
