My Thoughts

When I saw this devotional book n the B&H website, I knew that it would be a gem to read and discover.   I wasn’t wrong.  Every time I stumble on a book of Beth Moore I am learning so much through her notes.   You can quickly realize that she does research the topic before writing.   This particular devotional book was put together using some of her popular books on the lives of Jesus, David, John and Paul.   The text included in this small book will encourage you as you journey in the lives of four amazing men.

I must admit that if you have issues with small print that the book will be difficult to read for you.   It feels as though the word were shrunk in order to keep the devotions on a 1-3 pages format.   Each devotions start with a specific reading in the Bible before reading the words from Beth Moore.   Considering that her words are based on the Scripture it is a great idea to read the passage before hand.

The book is beautifully designed and engraved.   It is small enough to be slipped in a purse or bag.  It will uplift your spirit as you read the devotions and make you ponder more on the Word of God.

This marvelous devotional will make a beautiful gift for the woman in your life – whether it is your mom, spouse, girlfriend or grandma.

Portraits of Devotion is available for purchase at your favourite bookstore, even amazon.ca and amazon.com.
